Who am I?
I am Naïma Amsif, I was born in Rabat and Madrid has been my home for many years. I am an artist and my work is expressed in paintings and hand-painted silk pieces.
Color, textures, Andalusian geometry and forms from nature connect my works on canvas with my fans, scarves and lampshades.
My studio in Las Rozas, Madrid, is my creative haven: a space to develop ideas, experiment with materials, and dedicate the necessary time to each piece. Silk allows me to explore color through movement and light, opening new possibilities within my artistic language.
It's also a space open to those who wish to explore their creativity. In the in-person workshops, I share techniques and processes so that each person can enjoy working with their hands, find their own way of expressing themselves, and perhaps discover a new passion. Creating and sharing are integral to the life of the atelier.
